Free 2-Week Trial of Hulu Plus

Five months ago, our family decided to give up subscription television service.  No more $75+ a month bills to DirecTv, Comcast, Verizon…None of them!  Instead we were able to get a preview of Hulu Plus through my husband’s Playstation Plus account.

We were able to view our favorite shows, some of which are available in HD, through the Hulu Plus app on the PS3.  Not everything that was available on cable is available through Hulu Plus, but we have our favorites – Castle, House, Dancing With The Stars, Biggest Loser, Law & Order SVU, Eureka, and Private Practice.

There are a few shows that are available through Hulu on the computer that as of right now we can’t watch through the PS3 app or on our iPhones (Burn Notice, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Law & Order Criminal Intent), but they are working on bringing those to Hulu Plus customers as they are making new agreements with the networks.  Check out what’s available on Hulu Plus here.

You can get Hulu Plus on a variety of devices, including but not limited to: iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, PS3, Roku, Sony Bravia TVs & Blu-Ray players, and Samsong TVs & Blu-Ray players.  It is anticipated that Hulu Plus will be coming to Xbox 360, Vizio TVs & Blu-Ray players,  and TiVo Premiere sometime in the future.  And, just like with the free version of Hulu, you can view Hulu Plus programs from your computer.

Starting today, Hulu Plus is only $7.99 per month, and you can sign-up for a free 2-week trial.  Check it out and see what you think, and feel free to share your feedback below.

All opinions are 100% my own and are based on my personal experience with Hulu Plus.
